How to do a WinXP Detonator install?

I have the ASUS 21.81a drivers that came with my GF3 Ti-500 card and I don't particularly think they are very good. I understand that I must uninstall them before installing the Detonators. I am familiar with upgrading on my Win98SE machine, but WinXP looks totally different.

Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide on how to properly uninstall the ASUS's and then install the nVidia's. Thanks.

you shouldn't have to uninstall them, just grabe the 23.11's from nvidia's site, and run the installer it should update them no trouble

just my 2 cents worth,but without removing the old drvs before
installing the new drvs isn't there a possibilty of conflicts between the two?

You're right, da rock. I uninstalled the ASUS 21.81a's and then did an install of the Detonator 22.80's. They run great and I even got a boost in my 3DMark 2001 score from 7815 to 7959. Thanks.
