how to change resolution login screen

i downloaded a nice login screen, but the background doesn'tfit.
my resolution is 1280 x 1024.
How do i change the resolution of the login screen?? 😕

you'd have to reshack the login you downloaded, extract the bmp, and then use a photo program to change it's resolution...atleast thats how I always did it.
