i got a copy of "the big lebowski" from a friend but its 812mb on disk. i have an editing program that i can use to cut off the intro/outro bit that is pointless and takes off 5-10 mb, it worked with the shawshank redemption. but big lebowski is too big, excuse the pun. if anyone knows how to actually reencode the file at a lower bitrate id be pleased ;)

Use virtualdub /nandub from http://www.doom9.org
You can reduce the bit rate until it will fit on one CD

You could also make sure that the audio part of it is mp3 encoded, 128bit is normally fine.

All my DIVX fit on one CD (erm 5 of them hahaha)
I am not a pirate tho and have about 60 DVDs :D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
