Could someone show me how to make a registry file? I'd like to be able to add these entries to my registry without having to always do it manually: (Thanks)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - System - CurrentControlSet - Services - Dnscache - Parameters

CacheHashTableBucketSize - 0x00000001(1)
CacheHashTableSize - 0x00000180(384)
MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit - 0x0000fa00(64000)
MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit - 0x0000012d(301)
NegativeCacheTime - 0x00000000(0)
NetFailureCacheTime - 0x00000000(0)
NegativeSOACacheTime - 0x00000000(0)

I always find that the easiest way is to make the change you want and then export that registry key. Anyway, create a new txt file and insert the contents.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache\Parameters]
"CacheHashTableBucketSize"=dword:00000001
"NegativeCacheTime"=dword:00000000
"NetFailureCacheTime"=dword:00000000
"NegativeSOACacheTime"=dword:00000000
"CacheHashTableSize"=dword:00000180
"MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit"=dword:0000fa00
"MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit"=dword:0000012d
Change the extension to .reg and you are good to go.
