How do u remove windows messenger??

hi, i have win xp pro on my pc and it has both msn and windows messenger and i prefer msn messenger and i was wondering is there any "proper way" of getting rid of it???

just for knowledges sake, the short way to remove messenger:
start > run :
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
hit enter, restart, all gone.

while we are talking about messenger and msn messenger can soem one please tell me what the difference between windows messenger for XP and the MSN messnger client?

The differences between the clients is that MSN Messenger has advertising banner and doesnt support NetMeeting, Windows Messenger supports NetMeeting and is designed for XP. Version 5 (beta) of Windows Messenger is out now... no real difference from 4.7 really (I haven't noticed any).
