there has got to be something I can do with my 10mb line that just sits while i'm at work 40 hours a week.

is there any way to host a videogame server or some sort of ad supported something or other...

any ideas?

edit: ugh, i hate changing my mind on a title and then it ends up in such a poor gramatical state.

that doesn't make money.

I wonder if there are any contract stipulations that prevent a home-user from commercially utilizing the line? Or is that legal?

I am curious to find out :D

1) Obtain webcam.
2) Remove clothing.
3) Broadcast.
4) Profit!

You can offer off-site backups to businesses for a fee. Let's just say I know someone who does it and it works well ;)

Step 1. Collect Underpants

Step 2.

Step 3. Profit !!!

Most contracts that you have with ISP's, especially if they are not a business customer make it against the AUP to host any servers or services. For example, with Cox, I am technically not allowed to host an SSH server or VPN server on my gateway machine. They could technically cut us off, or at least send us a threatening letter about it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
