how do i stop icq coming up every time i switch my computer on...?

Hi when i start my laptop i always get the icq thing up along with the internet connection, which gets on my nerves!!! how do i stop this from coming on all the time?

Well you could just uninstall ICQ if it bothers you. Or you could go into preferences and uncheck Launch ICQ on startup. BTW you could have easily found out how to do this by going to the ICQ web site and checking their FAQs.

Or go to Run -> Msconfig, then 'Startup' then untick ICQ...

it actually is in the ICQ options
somewhere in the preferences option, and then one of the top few tabs, its there
