If I want an image to represent myself or I want to post a image how would I go about it?

do you mean on the left under your user handle? the avatar? or do you mean posting something from a website or your computer to this space?
if it is the avatar click on user cp above and go to the user options and at the bottom just browse to image and click... make sure the image is at most 80x80 pixels...
