How do I get rid of this?

Hi!


I want to get rid of that menu that contains the "File", "Edit", "View" etc. that's on every window when you open a folder, web browser or something like that.

Excuse my bad explenation, but I dont know how to explain...

I'ts on swedish, but i think you understand what I mean anyway

If you dont know how to remove it, can you at least tell me what the menu it's called?

Its called a menu bar. Some applications let you get rid of it by right clicking and from this menu you can remove it.

you can also look at a 3rd party product like appsense environment manager which can selectively remove menus and menu items. I saw a demo of it recently and came away suitably impressed.
