How do i format a ntfs drive

I have windows xp pro and i'm trying to format my C: drive wich is ntfs but each time i try to format and reboot nothing has happened
Does anyone know what i should do
You'll need to fdisk the entire drive. XP is installed on the C: drive and you're trying to do a clean installation? Is the drive partitioned? Do you have another drive in the system?

Do you have XP installed on another partition or drive and C: is the boot drive/partition? If so, you can't format it without losing boot capablity into XP.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
