Ok, heres the deal ,
I got Windows 98 on c: and Windows xp on d:, and i want to reformat the c: drive.
But, the problem is that boot.ini is on the c: drive, so if i reformated it, Windows xp wouldnt boot, right?
Windows XP has nice easy way to set this... go into control panel open up system properties (alternatively you can right-click my computer and select properties...
go to the "advanced" tab... under the last section "Start up and recovery" click settings... select the os u want it to boot from default... done ... should work sweetly now

P.S. Your computer will auto detect which hard drive has an OS on it... and boot from that... other wise u can do it through the dos prompt that comes up - many ways to deal with this situation m8
mine solution:
format c:
after that insert winxp cd, boot from it, choose recovery console, logon to your winxp, use the command "fixmbr" or "fixboot". eject the xp cd and boot normaly
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
