Hi, i was wondering.. in windows xp HOME.. how can i add a password so that people who want to access my computer over the network have to enter a password first? I know windows 2000 does this automatically and my friends computer has XP HOME and his has a password.. how??? Thanks!

Windows XP home was not designed for file sharing in that manner, but to do it is quite simple. You need to disable "Guest" on your machine. By disabling "Guest", you will be prompted for a password everytime you try to login to the machine over the network.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
