Could someone help me. I can connect to the internet, but am unable to view any web pages. Also homepage keeps changing from my normal one to this one: www.microsoft.com/isapi/redirect ?prd=ie&pver=6&ar=msnhome or something along those lines.

I am wandering if it may be a virus, but Mcafee internet security suite 2005 doesnt pick anything up on system scan.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

sound like maybe spyware, done the normal checks with hijackthis, adware and spybot?

Isn't that Internet Explorer just checking to see that it's the latest version? I'm sure there's an option to turn that off under tools->internet options.

It shouldn't keep changing homepages and not letting view at sites

It doesn't change the homepage, but it will load that up first, then move onto your homepage post-check, given that your IE is the latest version.

yes but he says his homepage keeps changing. The microsoft link shouldn't do that

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
