I was on my computer this morning and everything was fine. I come home from work, and I try to get on to IE.... and as soon as I doulbe click on the icon, it spit an error message out at me. It said something like "can not find.... file path.... Make sure the file name or path is correct." I created my own homepage and have been using it for months. Why won't it work now?

see if you can get to the page by entering the url manually.

first try by pasting the home page url into the address bar.

if that gets you to the page, post this question in security, we'll need to un highjack your browser

if the paste doesn't get you to the page, it still might be a security issue, but more likely, the page changed location, and you need to find the new address with a google search

it's not an actual website.... it's a page i made.. it loads directly from my hard drive

hmmm...make sure the page you made is not corrupted or moved...

open it manually from your desktop.

if it still works, make a copy if you don't already have one, delete it from the location you have it addressed, then put it back

hmm... I know it's till there... I just checked on it.

Will try, though

ah ha... I got it lol... Stupid me... I just forgot that I renamed the folder it was in...

Don't I feel smart...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
