The server is Windows XP Pro... connected to a hub, with my computer (XP Pro) and another computer on Windows Me.

The network has been running fine, actually perfectly.. for months. Then I decided to move my room around... and thats where the problem occured. The green light on the hub isn't showing for my connection, but it is for the server and the one running Me. The light on my network card is on constant though...

The network appears to be running fine on both other computers, except mine. Do you think it's a problem with the network cable or with the settings?

The cable, or the card. If the light is off, it's a hardware problem.

OR you have set the card to the wrong speed for the hub. But that seems unlikely in your case.

I think its most possibly the cable. Thanks, Ill check tomorrow when Im home.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
