History in IE6

Hi, can anyone help me with this please?In internet properties I keep setting the 'history' folder to 1 day, but it keeps going back to 20 days!!!How on earth do I make it stay at the number of days II specify???Cheers.

I am sure you have clicked on "apply" afte changing it to one????

Yeah, done that, this is a long going problem, it ALWAYS defaults to 20 days!no matter what I put!Any ideas?

You have exhausted my not so vast knowledge of IE History.

I don't think it matters as far as being an or logged on as an "administrator" or any of that kind of stuff comes in to play??
