Hidden Folders?

Hi,

Is there a way to create Hidden folders on XP, or to password protect a created folder?

If your XP installation is on an NTFS volume then yeah, there are a lot of alternatives. To simply hide a folder, right click on it> properties. At the bottom of that page is an attributes list and you can hide it there. To see it again, Open Windows Explorer, Tools> Folder Options, go in there to show hidden files.

or you can take the folder and put it in the fridge...they'd never look for it in the fridge muwhahahah

sorry it's like 2am and I just woke up lol

OK I hid a folder off of my desktop now how do I make it visible again?

To see it again, Open Windows Explorer, Tools> Folder Options, go in there to show hidden files.

Thanks, now I can hide all my goodies from my girlfriend!!!!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
