help with new cd burner

Hi, I'm about to buy a new cd burner only a low price one at the
moment, so I was looking at a LG 52x24x52 and a Lite-on 52x24x52
they are both similar prices but as I have never had any stuff
from either company is one any better than the other?

I have the 48X LG, and I love it... but you can't go wrong with either drive, I've heard good things about both, nothing bad about either, go with the cheapest...

Hi, Thanks for your replies, the price range for these burners
runs from £33.00 to £35.00, I have just found an Asus burner
same specs as others and in the same price range, does this alter your views any.

I also agree with going with the Lite-On. I have read though that it doesn't come with an IDE cable, which is strange but not a huge deal. Just wanted you to be aware of that.
