Hi, i organize my favorites the way I like them. Then it stays that way. But if I close the window and open it again, it goes back to normal. Can this have anything to do with making another account? Can it reset it or something? Please help.:cry:

Re: Please help...

windows key+r

past in the box that pops up;

"favorites"

hit enter

in the white part of the box that pops up right click, go to "arrange icons by" and click "modified", close the window, that should do it

ok....when i do windows key r, run program comes up...no clue what your talking about

ok let me rephrase what i said, I have Fidelity as one of my favorites...I want it where I want it, when i move it to where i want it it goes there. But if I close that window and open explorer again, its back in abc order

paste "favorites" in the run box, right click in the white field that shows your favorits, go to "arrange icons by", then go to modified

Re: Please help...

Assuming this is Internet Explorer.

Open Explorer and at the top click on Favorites (next to Tools) then Organize Favorites. Now left-click on a favorites icon in the list then while still holding down the mouse button drag the icon to the order you want and they should stay that way when you reopen the browser.

What I posted does work and since you can not use run then it appears you may not have admin access.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(
