Somehow I managed to install a program or something that has set the IE search page, the one that automatically comes up when you type in an invalid URL, to lop.com. I noticed that my start page was set to lop.com so I set it back to blank, but it still goes to that page.
I searched through the registry and found a couple of instances of lop.com being used as the search page, but setting these to something else didn't solve the problem.
Has anyone else had this happen with the same page or some other crappy ad type stuff? If so, anyone know how to fix it without reinstalling XP? Can I uninstall and reinstall IE maybe?
