Re: new program wanted.

Excel can do this pretty easily - I'll have to figure it out later though as I don't have Excel on this PC.

As a side note, a great source for excel based questions is also http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/

Re: new program wanted.

i can make the chart but have no idea how to separate the colors

Re: new program wanted.

yer i have made the chart now. just need to separate.

Re: new program wanted.

You need to separate the data into three sets - Series 1, 2 and 3, and then assign a different color to each series. This is what it ends up looking like:

I've attached the Excel file so you can look at the chart properties to see how it's done.

Re: new program wanted.

When you're creating the chart using the wizard, you first select the Scatter plot, as usual. In the second step, you'll see a tab on top labelled "Series." Click that, and you'll see an "Add" button to add additional sets. Basically, you want to create three of them, one for each year-group.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
