Hi.

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but here goes. Lately, say for the last month my WinXP has "refresh" itself when I view files....

For example:

Using Windows Explorer, I would view my files and scroll to the one Im looking for....more often than not...lets say the file is under M....Explorer would "refresh" itself and it will be back to the first Alpha and I would have to scroll again to M.

This has only happen with Explorer and it keeps refreshing. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

Thank you!!

Check that you don't have files being written into the directory you are viewing as this can trigger a refresh of the window. Also check that you don't have any programs running wihch might affect this (think back to when the problem started, what have you installed since ?)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
