ok guys and gals
i have got the halflife generation 3 pack and iam confused as to what version of Counterstrike i have , is it the retail one or just a mod on cd, as i would like to get the latest patch and map updates.

sounds dumb i know, but hey iam new to online gameing

generation 3 pack comes with 4 discs right? halflife, counter-strike and a few others?

if i'm right, just install counter-strike. then you will need to download the retail upgrade for 1.4 to play it
