HELP !!! DVD DRIVE on laptop unviewable...

i mean, like i'll put a disc in right, and i wont be able to see whats in the DISC, like if i wanna open it under windows explorer and so forth, it wont allow me to see what the contents of the cd are....... and it used to before, i remember when i first got this laptop i looked up the contents of GTA3 for the ps2

any suggestions ?! ANYONE !!!!!! PLEASE !

never mind, i got it, i dont know how, i did about 8716523871263 things and dont know which one did it, either way, thanx again guys
