A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to you computer.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this error screen restart your computer.
If this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue disable or remove any ne installed hardware or software.
Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing

So it cant be a driver problem can it??

It wouldnt say something bout dumping RAM would it?

i had a problem with this error, too (the "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" one). i had my XP box set up nicely and decided to add a new NIC to it, but i made the mistake of putting the new NIC into an empty PCI slot that was 1 slot below the old NIC (which i removed). got that error for days til i figured out what i did wrong. reinstalling XP didn't fix it, either...just had to put the new NIC into the old NIC's PCI slot. something about more than 1 device pointing to the same IRQ. had to go through all this business in the device manager afterwards to make sure everything was ok, but after i put the new NIC into the old NIC's slot, everything was fine again.

it is a problem with ur hardware/software. i'm certain of it.jus not sure wot.........:(

Any of the SP crew still out there?
