HDR is top of the line lighting, it will kill your frame rate but makes things look AWESOME

It its a newish style lighting and really can only be used on new hardware

those pictures don't do it justice at all. I ahve played far cry with hdr and it looks amazing...it will add a lot to source games but it hurts performance a tad. but other than that makes everything look way better
