HDD Space GONE??

I find this too strange. I got 2 partition on my Maxtor HD each of them 10GB and I uses only 5GB and it shows that i uses 7 GB on each partition. Where does the other 2 GB gone?? This problem is solved when i low-level format it, but it occurs back again. This is way too much space for me to lose.😡 Need help here...

It can be a few things eating up space: pagefile, system restore, and/or the hibernation feature. You can turn off system restore and hibernation occasionally to free up the space, and you can set your pagefile to a specific size - dependant on how much RAM you have.
