HDD Problems

I did the Sandra tune up wizard thingy and it said I needed to turn off acoustic managment or something like that. These are the two HDD I have. Where can I turn whichever one to off.

MAXTOR 6L020J1 (20 GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/133)
WDC WD400JB-00ENA0

the maxtor is the 1 with the acoustic management u need a utility from maxtor to turn it off and u have to boot to dos to do it

i cant find a link to the small floppy app i used to use, but i think it may be included with maxtors latest drive util.

i will warn you if you turn off the damping the drive sounds like its a 10 year old ata33, clunks and bangs like a good un, with little performance increase imho, i ran it for about 3 minutes b4 the noise became too much.
