Hey I was looking at the Ibm deskstar (80 gig) and it said that it can run for 333 hours a month.... Is this just a recomendation? My computer is always on 24/7/365 unless im upgrading or the powers out! So....any suggestions or comments?

its probably a recomendation because the deskstars are good drives but if there on 24/7 365days a year then they will tend to overheat and fail.
i have a deskstar and my comps on 5hours aday tops and it gets extremly warm, nice drive tho 😀
