I suffered similar problems, try this to work around the problem;

Go to Windows-update.

From the left hand menu select 'Personalize Windows Update'.

Select 'Display Link to Windows Update Cataloge'.

Select 'Windows Update Cataloge'.

Select 'Find updates for Microsoft Windows operating systems'

Select your operating system from the menu, search.

Choose your 'critical' or 'recommended' or 'driver' updates.

Select your required updates.

Save the downloads to a folder and run them at your leisure...

Hope this helps...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
