hardware not in taskmanager

My airport card is not in the dwvice manager, and there is no "dissabele" icon in the task manager...is it safe to just pop it out without dissabling it, or, how do I get the task manager to recognize it?

and see if your card is listed -

Have you got the name etc for it ?

Are you able to use the Card ?

Is it showing up in device manager ?

Go to the manufacturers website and see what they say or drop them a mail.

It's the dlink 650 airport card, with the xp drive'rs...yes it works perfectly, and yes, it's in the device manrager, just not in the task bar or task manager. Xp does not complain when I just pop it out (the way 98, or millenium did)
