I'm looking for a couple pieces of software for Windows and perhaps for Linux if anyone knows off the top of their head of the following ...

1. Software that reads the sensors on my computer and reports things like temperature, voltage, etc.

2. Software that can list the make/model/speed/etc off different pieces of hardware on my PC.

Thanks!

in linux - im sensors and lspci ;) - windows not too sure

Depending on your motherboard, a lot of them come with that type of software on the installation disc. Find your disc and see what is on there. I know most of the ASUS boards have those programs.

Asus probe2 runs many processes so it is better to use Speedfan which runs only one.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
