Hard drive Screwed

Hi folks. I have a little problem. My 80gig hard drive is screwed. I am now trying to install xp pro on my spare one(20 gig western digital). I have every thing set up, Pin out(because it's the only hard drive), win xp pro cd in but I get the message "NTLDR is missing" so it does'nt get as far as booting to the CD. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm at my whits end with this.

You must set BIOS to try to boot from the CD before it tries to boot from the hdd.

yah under advanced options there should be something that says first boot device: HDD 0

you want to change it to CD-rom
