I have a 120 gig MAXTOR full of data, in a usb case. I plug it into my laptop or tower and it doesn't show up in my computer. I took it out of the case ane hooked it to the IDE as slave and doesn't show up in my computer. I go to device manager and look under disk drives and all 3 hdd show up? This is really pissing me off.

Did you try enabling it through your Logical disk manager?

Right-click and enable in the "Logical Disk Manager" if listed in there.

It is enabled. I can feel the drive spinning, when the power is on.

google for maxblast the maxtor tool, or grab a copy of ultimate boot disk. see if that finds the drive, if it does, run the tests on it, it should fix any table issues

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
