When turning on my computer between 3-5 seconds after doing so i get the message "a problem with the hard drive has been detected. please consult ur user's manual. press enter to continue.". i press enter and everthing loads up fine and my computer runs smooth. when consulting my user's manual it gives quotes of error messages and why you would get them but i didn't receive any of them that it states. i disk check and defrag about every 2 weeks. this is the first time i got this message. any idea why? thanks in advance.

I suggest you go to the hard drives manufaturers web site and download their diagnostic software and test your drive. And backup anything important that is on the drive.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
