hard drive in the freezer?

My mp3 player drive died yesterday and i am trying to think of a way to use it just for a little long. Any ideas to make the clicking stop? I have read about the hard drive in the freezer but was wondering if there were any other things that could possibly bring it back to life??

There was an excellent site mentioned here some months ago discussing exactly what to do and what not to do with a damaged hard disk. Sadly I can't find the link, I'll have a further look but in the meantime check out this page for some advice.
