Can anyone point me in the direction or a good DOS based hard drive checker both pysical and data.
I want to format a drive then check it for any errors before I load software onto it. I know windows already does this as a part of the install process, but I believe there is an intermittant fault on the disk surface as it comes up with boot disk failure on boot up occasionally.
