Happy Birthday LeeJend... 50 Years Young

SS? LMAO. You actually think any of us are going to collect?

When I started working retirement age was 62. Now it's 65. It will be at least 67 in a few more years. By the time I get there I will be dead.

Now this pisses me off so I have decided to marry an 18 year old once I turn 62 in retribution against the system. She will have survivor benefits for half a century :) I recommend everyone else do the same.

PS Ladies. I'm taking applications now.
I figure I'll be working myself right into the grave. :dead:

I tried to marry an 18 year old once, but my wife put the stops to that quick. :(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

For the younguns in the audience, what life was like way back then -

You could get 2 songs for 95 cents not just one song.
All music was copy protected.
It was perfectly legal to swap songs with your friends.
TV shows had a 1 bit color depth (Black and White).
Doctors came to your house instead of making you sit in a room full of contagious people with other diseases.
Every known venerial disease had a cure using inexpensive medicines.
Gasoline was 35 cents a gallon.
All cars had V8 engines (except the Volkwagen Beetle which had a rubber band and a wind up key).
A new car cost about 1/5 of your annual salary.
You never had a sales person calling you during dinner.
Your grocery basket contained things that grew on trees, not processed sludge left over from gasoline refining.
If you wanted to kill a bug you stepped on it, instead of spraying neuro toxins all over your house.
You could smell the fresh air, now you can smell the air and see it too.
Outsourcing at work meant running down to the hardware store for parts.
The people you worked with back then had funny accents, but their last names looked just like yours.
Candy bars cost 5 cents and actually had chocolate in them.
Most soap and household cleaning products were edible, not toxic.
People were smart enough to not require written safety handling instructions on their food.
It was pretty much impossible to get laid when you 14.
Girls breasts weren't big enough to sag until they were in their 20's (let's hear it for estrogen laced chicken).

Happy birthday dude ;)

edit: Okay, I guess I was a day late :p

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
