Actually, it was a link to bugmenot.com's website. While his link wasn't to a plugin for the application, bugmenot DOES have a handy plugin for mozilla based browsers here: http://extensions.roachfiend.com/index.php#bugmenot (tested on Firebird 0.7, Firefox 0.8 - 0.10, Mozilla 1.6, 1.7b and Netscape 7.1.)

Jimbo's lack of posting etiquette aside (what ever happened to that flash link posted a while ago on posting etiquette, I can't seem to find it anymore), bugmenot.com is not spam and is actually a fairly useful tool (at least for me).

Some more info (taken from bugmenot's FAQ):
BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information (such as the New York Times).

If you've ever tried reading news stories on the new york times web site or the washington post's web site, or other sites that require you to "register" to view their news stories, this site basically holds a database of accounts that people have created and let other people use on those sites without having to enter their own personal information.
