Wats goin on i went to 2 shops today "Game" & "Game Station" and they Hav the Release date for hl2 as November? WTF?

They announced that they would release Half Life 2 in November about a few months ago.

Umm... no. The company announced a week ago that they were still on schedule for the end of September.

Gamestop still lists it as 9/30:

Was talking to my mate from nvidia last night.
He previously insisted that Detonator 50 would be out before HL2 (to solve issues that have arisen), he still claims that. But has now also told me the drivers will be out in the fall.

He was thinking nov/dec.

but no one knows.
Tho steam is starting to gear up for some radical changes.

U WIll b able to download HL2 From Steam, u gota pay 4 it of course, Same Pirce as Retail Version.... i think and unless the Downloadable version will b out in Sept and Retail in Nov? Abit like Symantec or doing with NAV2004 but i doudt it

well the price has not been disclosed.
it may actually be cheaper.
As no cash goes to the publishers... or any material possession (ie case, manual, disk)
