I've seen articles on this kind of software before April 1st, so it's not entirely made up. A good idea some of you say, but if you stop for a second and think about it, it's actually one of the worst ideas ever.
First off, hackers don't use their own computers, they use compromised computers. So if you retaliate, you are most likely to hit someone innocent. If that person also runs this software, the war is on!
Also, considering the incompetence of todays firewalls in judging what is an attack or not, there won't even have to be a hacker at all to start a DOS war.
Good thing it was a joke this time. I hope noone ever makes this kind of software. Ever.
