Hi all. today i found out how to backup Windows Updates after i did a clean install ive seen a few people asking how to do it and i have found the answer maybe people have a better way but this backs up all the updates into various installers which is handy.
Heres How:
1)Go to the windows update website (this will only detect the updates if you havent got them installed) then do the scan then select the updates you want (this has only been tried with the manual windows update).
2)Make sure temporary internet files is on then download them:blink:
3)Open up temporary internet files
4)Then find the files by sorting file types by application.
5)The files should start the URL with "http://download.windowsupdate.com"
6)These are the installers for the updates simply copy then paste to another folder or burn to cd.
7)Ive posted a screenie to help but this should be very simple:happy:
Enjoy and hope this helps sum people
