Great site for speeding your pc up to the max!!!.I have been running xp pro for approx 6-8 months ,boot up times have varied ,!!
Up untill last week ,my quickest was about 35 seconds,now down to 25 .THE last tip i got was to get rid of style xp and that knocked 8 seconds off the bootup time?????

My boot-up time is horrendous, up to a minute at the XP splash screen......I'm beginning to wonder if telling my PC to stop synchronizing folders with other PC's on the network at shutdown did this?

Its a well known fact that everything you want your pc to do
will slow it down eventually.In wanting better PERFORMANCE,DECREASES and limits you to what your pc can actually have installed .Whether it at start up or not .CONFIGURATION , IS THE ONLY WAY.Better drivers ,etc,more mem.XP is a resource eater.I FORMAT and rerinstall every month
SO BACKUP YOUR SYS?!!
