Well this is definately interesting, my hardware is Asus 8200 Deluxe Geforce 3 64MB AGP 4x. Below are some screeners I took of Asus Smart Doctor 2, tell me what you think should be done about it? Right now the card itself has a fan and 3 heatsinks on it, plus I've installed a PCI slot fan just below it. Anyways checkout the pics out.

I actually increased the sensitivity of the smart doctor software because I suspected something was up. Idle temps are 47°C GPU and 32°C Memory. The temps in the screeners are during use of a 3D intensive game.

2 questions... are you overclocking your video card... and are you volt modding your video card (ie increasing the agp voltage) ?

No, no overclocking. In fact Smart Doctor turns my GPU and Memory speeds down to 180MHz and 258MHz. Default is 200MHz and 260MHz, smart doctor will decrease these values even lower in an event such as that one. No AGP manipulation either, BIOS is set for auto in every aspect. Its even controlling my multipliers.

have you physically checked the card? perhaps there is something loose?

keep posting... I'm off to bed but will have a look into the thread tomorrow :)

Well as far as I can see nothing is loose, I mean it’s not like there are a lot of mechanical parts to the thing besides the fan and heatsinks. It’s a 4x AGP chip so the voltage should be 1.6v shouldn't it? Well in my BIOS the AGP VDDQ voltage is 1.5v. To me this sounds like its one of those "change it quick and pray it’s not broke" kind of things.

I increased my voltage in BIOS to 1.6v and the VDDQ error has gone away, but its still running very hot. Core 51°C, 37°C Memory, both IDLE.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
