I am having trouble upgrading to XP.
I am pretty sure the problem is with the graphics card.
I do not have an AGP-slot and was wondering what the MINIMUM requirement would be for this.
I use a Pentium II, 256 meg memory and two drives totaling 25 GB.
It seems to upgrade OK and does not report any errors but I am left without a task-bar, start-button and no icons on the desktop.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers for your Graphics card , do they support XP ?

also you can Format the drive ... boot from XP CD or XP floppies , install , then it will ask for the 98 CD pop it in , then it will go back to installing XP

= FRESH INSTALL

Upgrades suck 9/10 times

fresh installs fix many problems.. speaking from experience

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
