What do you mean it intercepts it? If you are downloading a file, it should give you the option to save it, open in Google Docs, open in Word etc etc.

yes - one would
but whenever I click on a word or excel
google screen pops up
ans says it cannot open it
THEN, I have to hit open with another application prompt
THEN, I can save or open
or
sometimes, it opens right into the Google DOC program
and then I have to hit "save as" to get it to my local hard drive
all = a pain in the a$$
