Does anyone know of any GOOD freeware for editing pdf files that have ALREADY been created. I'm not talking about pdf output printers - lots of those around. PDF editors I've come across are either not free or if they are, they're so crude I'd rather not use them.

Because PDF is licensed by Adobe at what I can imagine is an abhorant rate, methinks you won't find any really good freeware.

This is a pity - if no one has found anything I may end up buying retailware - which is rare or me :)

I use openoffice it works great for creating pdf, but you can't edit an already made one.

Right. All the apps I've seen usually create PDFs out of other documents. Adobe Acrobat seems to be the only one that can edit PDFs and add form fields etc.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
