I've been looking and looking and can't figure out why this is happening, but it's driving me nuts.

All to often when I pull up a thread that has more than one post I always seem to go to the very end, even though it's a thead that I've never been to before. Shouldn't I always start at the first unread post?

I'm using Mozilla 1.2b, by the way.

Yeah. It happens whether I click the topic or the arrow, I go to the last page, last post, even on threads I've never been to before.

Thanks for the replies. Makes it a little better that it's not just happening to me. The thing I don't get though, in response to EP's hint, is that it doesn't always do this. Just most of the time.

That could be the way the cookie works. Basically the cookie (stored on your hdd) has your login details and when you logon to the site it updates when you last visited, your ip etc. (I see all! bwahha) even if you don't check all the new posts, this information gets reset after you leave... so new posts are only new since your previous session... otherwise the database would get huge if there was a table header saying "Did Punk read this"... I have prob cofused you and I am not gonna read ot retye it as I will prob confuse myself...

But I think that is the sum of it, in punk terms :D
