GF4 MX420 Probs in Win 2K

i cant get my card to work in win 2k. it has worked in win 98, xp , and previous installations of 2k before. I have installed 2k at least twice and have installed 3 different nvidia drivers. what its doing is it will not work in normal boot, blacks out the mointor completety if you disable the intergraded card. it does work in vga mode but thats not very helpful. in the last drivers i downloaded (4?.?? something another it was the lastest at the time) it displayed but it had no start bar/taskbar so it was useless. Anyone can help me with this?

Try rephrasing it a bit, and put the problems in a list. It's easier for dummies like me to understand this way

you will need updated agp drivers for a guess, gf4's tend to play up without a recent agp driver.

yeah im getting the Detenator FX 44.03 drivers right now (18.4mb on a 56k i sure hope this works

perhaps you need newer drivers for not only the card (detonators) but also your motherboard/chipset.
