getting my cam to show as a device?

i have a digital camera that connects through a com port into the camera ot transfer the photos.

is there a way i can make it show as a device maybe in my computer. its not that old but its not new either.

its an olympus camedia digital camera

try running the add hardware wizard in control panel, make sure the cams plugged in and on.

i done that and it has loads of models except C-860L it has 830 and 840 r the closest to my model so i added them but it dindt retrieve the fotos or anything it said it cant find the specific device

have you got a driver disk for it, the win2000 driver works.

bope the disk didnt come with any drivers, what win2000 driver works?

says there usb drivers though. whats the exact model
